TAI CHI is a soft martial art which has sometimes been described as
"steel wrapped in cotton".

Our aim, through gentle, harmonious exercise, is to develop inner strength, balance, self-awareness in the environment, relaxation and calm.

We will be following a short form of Tai Chi comprising eighteen movements which have to be memorised in order that the complete form may flow from one move to the next.

New group members are very welcome. No need to worry about being behind longer standing members, we always go back over old ground to reinforce and refine the movements.
